Priya in Heels Playlist

Music is a powerful thing, isn't it? It hurtles you into a vortex of emotion. Some emotions may be the intent of the song itself, some come from situations and life events that happened during or around the time of that song, and others, well, others help bring an entire story into a musical version. Unintentionally, the raw emotion of love found and love lost in Priya in Heels is perfectly highlighted in Maroon 5's Overexposed album (2012) as well as others. Below is the playlist for my upcoming release in sequence of events. The videos don't have anything to do with the story, but listen to the words, feel the rhythm, the sorrow, the passion.

Neon Trees: Animals (Coincidence, the lead singer for Neon Trees is Tyler, which is the name of Priya's love interest.)
Maroon 5: Love Somebody (If the story could be enveloped in just one song, this would be it.)
Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham: Suraj Hua Madham ("K3G" is a popular Bollywood movie mentioned in the story.)
Neon Trees: Everybody Talks (A self-explanatory title when it comes to Priya's doubts.)
Maroon 5: Daylight  (After the life-changing event that nearly crushes Priya, this is the scene when Tyler holds her. He sort of knows what's about to happen.)
Maroon 5: Beautiful Goodbye (A self-explanatory title on Tyler's end.)
Maroon 5: One More Night (Love never dies, and it's difficult to keep it down.)
Maroon 5: Payphone (For the heated scenes when anger hugs the central emotions. Also, another song that closely envelopes the pain.)
Maroon 5 Ft. Rihanna: If I Never See Your Face Again (Well…you have to wonder if Priya and Tyler will have a happily ever after.)
